Death of his mother[edit]

Probably not appropriate for the article, but Art Alexakis's mother passed away recently; an obituary appeared in The Oregonian last week. It's online at [1]

What about his daughter?[edit]

I don't see it mentioned anywhere on this article that he has a daughter, which he does. I just found it odd that it wasn't mentioned in his personal life section. He write numerous songs which included lines about his daughter, including 'Songs From an American Movie Pt. 1 and Pt. 2,' 'Father of Mine,' and the song that was written with his daughter's name in the title, 'Annabella's Song.' His daughter's name is Annabella Rose Alexakis and she was born in 1993. I'm not sure how to put this into the article so I instead put this on the talk page. Former atheist?[edit]

I have found no citations of Art ever professing to be an atheist. The only thing I can imagine leading anyone to surmise that he once was is a song on So Much for the Afterglow called Why I Don't Believe in God. While one can imagine that he may have written the song about himself, he just as easily might have been writing it from the perspective of another person, real or not. Unless someone has evidence he actually wrote it about himself, or once was one, I suggest we remove him from the list of Former Atheists and Agnostics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Othersider (talk • contribs) 02:38, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Political activism source[edit]

In investigating H.R. 1488 and its Senate version S. 228, I am having a difficult time seeing Nancy Pelosi's involvement in either of these bills.
