New enough and long enough. QPQ present. Hook facts all check out to sources in the article, though the only change I can see to the hook is adding a metric measurement for international audiences (which isn't something to stop approval, but it's worth keeping in mind how other DYK hooks with measurements end up). Image is a pre-1978 publicity ad without a copyright, but I'm not sure if it can run on Main Page (and it might be bumped from top slot anyway).
