Deletion of the Article[edit]

I don't think the article should be deleted; A tag was put (which I already took off). In response of it I improved the article by putting sources and more information about the subject; infortunatelly, an arkan sonney is a minor folkloric being and so there is not many information about it; still, I think is a point of interest. --Midasminus 20:17, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps I'll get around to putting info from Katharine M. Briggs in this article rather than the info from Monstropedia and Monstrous.com. Those two sites are not reputable: One, Monstropedia is a paraphrased copy of Wikipedia mythology/folklore/cryptozoology pages and a copy of Monstrous.com pages. Two, Monstrous.com gets its fairy encyclopedia info from Edain McCoy's book, A Witch's Guide to Faery something-or-other, which is not a reputable, reliable printed source. In fact, it's mostly a book on Wiccan/Pagan beliefs and how to conjure fairies. 24.14.198.8 18:46, 25 June 2007 (UTC) Chris G.[reply]

Actually, yes, you did. Check the editing history on May 3, 2007 again. You added Monstropedia (which is founded by the creators of Monstrous.com) and http://faerie.monstrous.com (a page on Monstrous.com) to the reference list. You also added information from these two sources (really just one, since they have the same origins) which cannot be checked against any other source except Edain McCoy's book, which was probably where Monstrous.com got their information. 24.14.198.8 00:08, 28 July 2007(UTC) Chris G.
