This article is written in American English, which has its own spelling conventions (color, defense, traveled) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

"Controversy" -- not sufficiently notable[edit]

I question the notability of this. The decision was later reversed, and the kid got his certificate. This is certainly not one of the top 50 controversies involving the AOC in the history of the office. I will delete it if there is not serious objection. Yeah... although you've already removed. It was just a minor blip on the radar. It was somewhat notable (in that it received some news coverage), but probably not enough. We don't need to document every little tiny "controversy" in every article. Mahalo. --Ali'i 21:02, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
