Language ideologies -- vast majority identify as ethnically Croatian and not Albanian (note Matasovic a big chunk literally are not descended from Albanians), recognize relation of Arbanasi is an Albanian dialect while some say it is a related language, Arbanasi has now declined to around 200 speakers, has "nostalgic" positive language ideology, many speakers would prefer it taught separately from Albanian to preserve its uniqueness, skepticism it can be revived on its own terms, Arbanasi visits to Albania [[3]] [[4]] [[5]] [[6]]
