"Catholic sexual abuse scandal"[edit]

I think a link to a main article on "Catholic sexual abuse scandals" would be relevant, but I don't think a section titled that is pertinent to an article on a school. I have added a link to an actual case involving this school. I think the sentence "This school is one among many where former students recently made claims that they were abused for years by the schools priests" is not germane to this article either, but belongs in an article about Catholic sexual abuse in schools". Or, since the link is about another school for the hearing impaired, an article about "Catholic sexual abuse in schools for the hearing impaired", if it exists. In any case, the link does not support the statement that there are many schools, and while not unsympathetic to the point being made, it looks a bit like original research. And finally the 'main article: "Catholic sexual abuse scandal in Europe" is entirely irrelevant. So I propose removing the "main article" link and the sentence starting "this school is one among many". --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 13:35, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In fact there were documented abuses in Verona (Italy), La Plata (Argentina) and Mendoza (Argentina). This is well documented and there are references in italian and spanish languages. 37.223.181.74 (talk) 19:53, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
