Fair use rationale for Image:Anomaly (ENT episode).jpg[edit]

Image:Anomaly (ENT episode).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:32, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Lead section is way too short and needs to be expanded.
  • Plot information is a bit too detailed.
  • Relevant real-word info is missing from the article (e.g.: production info, cast info).
  • The article needs references.

I'll review this. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 22:21, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nitpicks:

  • Critics criticised the actions of Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) in the episode Green's review appears to be the only one that criticized Archer's actions; Epsicokhan doesn't seem to mention it. Maybe The actions of Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) received criticism?
  • Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) leads Lt. Malcolm Reed (Dominic Keating), don't think we need this comma
  • The Command Centre set What is this set? It is not mentioned anywhere else in this article's prose. Some context could be used here
  • Michelle Erica Green, whilst writing for TrekNation I don't think we need a whilst here. It's not like she was doing anything else.

My nitty picks are over. Placing on hold. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 22:40, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I've made those edits. Between you and me, I could never understand why they introduced the command centre - everything they did there they should have been able to do on the bridge. I think they needed a darkened room in which to plot. :) Miyagawa (talk) 22:49, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your efforts; the article meets the GA criteria, I'll be promoting it shortly. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 22:52, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why not call the new plot section - "The B Plot"[edit]

I have heard that only The Original Series generally had one plot. Every 90's show usually had an A plot and a B plot. I see someone has added the B plot on this episode, but the insertion has an awkward intro. So just a suggestion Randomplanck (talk) 20:26, 9 March 2020 (UTC) I'm referring to the new section "(Ignored or missing here is the ongoing plot line developing the Trip+T'Pol pair." I doesn't seem like it's an established convention to frame things as A plot/B plot, so it might seem like everything might have to be reworked at some point. It does seem like a good idea to me, though. Randomplanck (talk) 20:29, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
