Title?[edit]

I see that no one has objected to my information. Would anyone object to my altering the title of the article to reflect my understanding? If I don't notice an objection within the next week or so, I'll alter it to comport with what I understand the correct title to be. (I note that there are no links given to this article, so impact should be minimal.) Firstorm (talk) 18:01, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the correct title is not "Bishop of Buenos Aires", but "Bishop of Argentina": the Anglican diocese is "of Argentina", though the see -- the bishop's seat -- is in the city of Buenos Aires. This is made clear both at the website of the Anglican Communion (http://www.anglicancommunion.org/tour/diocese.cfm?Idind=531&view=alpha) and at the website of the diocese itself (http://www.anglicanaargentina.org.ar/). Anglican Bishop of ArgentinaAnglican Diocese of Argentina – The history on this page refers to the diocese; consistency with other articles on Anglican dioceses in Global South to have "Anglican bishop of" redirect to "Anglican Diocese of" rather than vice versa (eg Anglican bishop of Jerusalem, Anglican Bishop of Abuja) Dclemens1971 (talk) 16:03, 7 March 2024 (UTC)— Relisting. Dclemens1971 (talk) 03:44, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
