Catholic Church naming conventions RfC[edit]

There is currently an RfC at Wikipedia_talk:Naming_conventions_(Catholic_Church)#RfC:_should_this_page_be_made_a_naming_convention that may be of interest. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 23:45, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Diocese of the Holy Cross[edit]

Should DHC be added to this page, under Original Province? A link to the existing DHC wiki page can be maintained. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SAWassen (talkcontribs) 14:39, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Major update[edit]

I have completed a major overhaul of the page. Removing the parts that were out of date and no longer correct (such as Second Province), and expanding the information and creating all new sections.

The Diocese of the Holy Cross has been included, with internal links to its own Wiki page.

The "Deceased" section under Leadership is not comprehensive. SAWassen (talk) 19:14, 12 December 2021 (UTC)SAWassen[reply]

Reassessment for Wikiproject Christianity[edit]

I have reassessed this article for Wikiproject Christianity as C low. The research and attention to detail on this article is excellent, but what keeps it from B class in my view is that it is not sufficiently attentive to the needs and interests of the general reader. It starts strong, but the descent into acronyms feels sudden and disorienting, and the comprehensive list of bishops (active and retired!) feels unnecessary for this sort of article. Meanwhile, other things that may be of more interest to a general reader---questions of theology and social involvement, for example---are entirely absent. Kudos to SAWassen and others for the strong development. Brian (talk) 00:51, 19 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
