this is all true info, andy russell was a great mountain and has wrote many good books and they sold over a million copies.I feel he needs to be recognized

I've declined to delete this article because I believe that an individual who has received the Order of Canada is notable, but I would certainly like to see some reliable sources that back up the assertions in this article so that they are verifiable. Article title[edit]

Two things strike me about the title of this article. The first is that "Canadian" is unnecessary; per the Andy Russell and Andrew Russell DAB pages, there is no need to distinguish him by nationality from other authors. The other is that "author" may not be the best description of him; his writing was merely one aspect of his wilderness-promoting activities. Naturalist? Conservationist?
