Did not write first biography of Wentworth[edit]

An edit war has broken out regarding the statement that "Andew Tink has written the first biography on William Wentworth". I have asserted that there have been other "book length" biographies that have been published, and so you cannot claim that it is the first. What can be claimed, is what is confirmed on this web page

quoting the above webpage "Andrew’s biography of William Charles Wentworth, his first published manuscript"

Translation : The biography is Andrew's first published manuscript.

It does not mean that it is the first biography of William Wentworth, as the first one was written over 50 years ago. David.moreno72 (talk) 12:52, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How about the first comrehensive biography of?

I can;t answer for Venn (1972) which I have not read but Deer/Barr and Cramp tell us nothing about his family life and certainly nothing about the convict origins of his mother and both his parents-in-law. Both were a factor in explaining his support for the emancipist cause and the failure of his courtship of Macarthur's daughter. They also gloss over his less praiswworth traits.
