Do Me, Baby[edit]

"Reportedly, Prince's signature ballad from Controversy, "Do Me, Baby" was originally written by Cymone in the late '70s and Prince re-recorded it and put it on the album as revenge against Cymone."

This appears to be an unsubstantiated accusation of plagiarism (as Prince is the listed author of this track). If this is to remain in, there at least needs to be a citation of who it is who "reported" this. TSP 23:27, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

André's Musical Contributions[edit]

I was going to add some info to this article about André's musical contributions, then I encountered a warning that informed me that I was using a self-published blog as a source. The main reason why I felt it was fine to post this was because in the source, the author conducted an interview with André Cymone's former backing drummer, John "Bam Bam" Morgan. I believed the source wasn't similar to that of a lengthy YouTube comment. Below is what I was planning to add to the article: "Cymone was also a key figure in introducing new electronics to funk and R&B, and pioneered a more futuristic sound alongside other acts like The System."
