Single Deck[edit]

The Lloyd's Register of Shipping up to 1824 [1] describes the ship Anderson 'S D B', which means single deck beam, so its not a 2 deck, and i would say 'Anderson' and not 'Andersons' is the appropriate name. --Ribewiki (talk) 06:03, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have done the single-deck correction. As for the name, the key reference for the article, the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade database, uses Andersons. We do mention the alternate forms in the first line of the overview. Acad Ronin (talk) 16:40, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
