Plot summary[edit]

As the plot summary was overlong, and had been tagged as such, I've restored a brief but adequate synopsis from an older revision [1]. --Tony Sidaway 19:28, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I made a few changes in the Plot section. Most were routine copy editing. The major exception was to change the statement that the painting was sold to Terry. It wasn't; it was given to her. Nickie says he couldn't have taken money for the painting, and the woman who came to the gallery didn't have any money, and "she was-- she was--," so he let the painting be given away.
Also changed the terms for Nickie's and Terry's former partners. Nickie was engaged to Lois; Terry wasn't engaged to Ken, nor does the film imply that he was her lover in a physical sense. Cognita (talk) 06:37, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In Popular Culture TVB produced drama, A Chip Of The Old Block, aired in 2009 reference this film as one of the major plot of the main characters love story. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.136.101.200 (talk) 08:17, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nickie or Nicky?[edit]

Should be one or the other consistently. LeonardoCiampa (talk) 02:20, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Film genre[edit]

I don't think An Affair to Remember is a musical film, wouldn't you agree? --TMProofreader (talk) 15:52, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
