GA Reassessment[edit]

This article is being reviewed as part of the WikiProject Good Articles. We're doing Sweeps to go over all of the current GAs and see if they still meet the GA criteria. Initial comments[edit]

This appears to be quite a comprehensive article, but the main problem is lack of WP:verify, i.e. lack of in-line citations.

Some sections, such as History, Ammonia's role in biological systems and human disease and Detection and determination are adequately referenced, but other sections are not.

For instance:

In Structure and basic chemical properties - only the second para is referenced.
Biosynthesis is unreferenced.
Properties mostly unreferenced.
Formation of other compounds - unreferenced.
Ammonia as a ligand - unreferenced.
Toxicity and storage information.

There are more, but I'm putting the review On Hold at this point.16:41, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
