Merged in[edit]

I moved a section on history of the AVS from H. Jay Dinshah here, it may need editing to make it work better here. RJFJR (talk) 22:37, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Years ago I wrote a much better page on the American Vegan Society. This is no match for that. It must have been deleted, then this page started later. MaynardClark (talk)

The writing is not very lucid. It's accurate; I know the Dinshah family and knew and worked with Jay Dinshah before his death and helped with program planning and manageent for several of those AVS conferences. But the historic role of AVS in the American vegetarian and vegan movement could be covered more (a) succinctly and (b) completely. What's most curious is some of my actual wording and content from the previous article.  :-( MaynardClark (talk)

Do not think they license to UK VS trademark[edit]

I fact checked this statement on the page with the UK vegan society. They said it was wrong.

So, if there are no objections, I will remove the sentence about the trademark.
