Untitled[edit]

The trivia section about this being the weakest division seems more opinion than fact. The division has produced 3 pennant winners to the AL West's 1 since the inception of the 3 division format in 1994.

Under the "AL Central champions by year" banner, it previously said that the White Sox defeated the Cardinals in the '05 World Series, I correctly changed it to the Astros.

The Trivia section sounds like it was written by either ESPN or a bitter Redsox fan. Get rid of it.

Wild card section[edit]

This sections neutrality is horribly non-exsistent. "The yankee and red sox dominance in the east" is the first glaring example. Yes, both clubs are good, but neither has been 'dominant' in quite a while. "as well as the Central being the weakest division" is not only biased, but one could make the argument that it is in fact the strongest, with at least 3 good teams a year deserving of a playoff spot (detroit, chisox, twins). IMO, the entire commentary in the section should be removed, since it adds nothing of value to the article.
