Created Page May 24, 2014 -- Outstanding Items[edit]
I found a broken (red) link for American Biological Safety Association. I created a simple page with some basic information, and links to relevant material, inside Wikipedia and on the internet. I searched Wikipedia for pages that referred to ABSA, and pages that were relevant to biosafety. I added redirects for Biological safety and Biological Safety for these common aliases of Biosafety.
I linked to the histories of past conferences, and found an ABSA history collection at the National Agricultural Library. I used the history from that site, in blockquotes, and gave credit to NAL and the presumed author of the history. It was done in 2008, so needs to be updated and integrated into the description of ABSA.
It would be nice to have a section on Impact of the ABSA on the Biosafety Industry.
It might be nice to have a collapsible table of conference years and topics. The conference titles/goals should be fruitful ground for issues and biosafety topics.
Need a description of the key issues tracked by ABSA.
I noticed that ABSA has materials on Animal biosafety, but that topic does not seem to exist on Wikipedia. A related term is Veterinary biosafety. Maybe someone can clean that up.
The list of past presidents is now in a collapsible table.
I left several red links for people to fill in or redirect as appropriate.
