referencing errors[edit]

Maketrad thanks for trying to clean up the referencing errors you introduced. Unfortunately, the article still isn't quite right. The article has several facts and figures from the 2011 census, and the used a reference named "cp2011". There are also some references named "cp2011-PC" and "cp2011-CA" references. You've removed the "cp2011" referenced and replaced it with "cp2021" along with some updated numbers. But you've also updated numbers previously referenced with the "cp2011-PC" and "cp2011-CA" references, which you didn't update. Now, the article is generating errors for the "cp2021-CA" and "cp2021-PC" references, which you invoked but never defined. And the "cp2011-CA" and "cp2011-PC" references remain, but the numbers they're meant to reference were changed ... presumably to numbers you found in a newer reference.

So at this point, the article uses some sources from 2011 and some from 2021, and has numbers from both periods, too. I think it would be better if it used numbers from the same census year, and it also needs to have all of its references correctly defined and not causing referencing errors. Will you be able to fix up the article? I wanted to give you the opportunity to do so before again reverting your changes. -- Mikeblas (talk) 13:31, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
Thank you, let me attempt to fix this all right now.

That doesn't seem much better, I'm afraid. There's now two different definitions for "cp2021" and "cp2021-PC" and "cp2021-CA" are still undefined. In looking at the links you provide, I don't see the data you're trying to reference -- we're looking for updated references that show newer populations for the "metro area" and the "urban area".
Do you know where to source that data? -- Mikeblas (talk) 21:05, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've reverted this page to the most recent version before the updates were attempted in order to resolve the referencing errors. -- Mikeblas (talk) 15:22, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
