Names[edit]

On the PC and PSN. Evolution was released on the Xbox first, and the community raged about how the game wasn't perfect because fan bases are funny like that. So Team17 released Impact on the PC and PSN with whatever update the xbox guys were whining about, delaying 'Episode 2', with lots of lulz happening because Impact won't be released on the xbox, while it was built around xbox players feedback. 77.203.159.33 (talk) 22:48, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is this game series and its individual episodes called exactly, does anyone have any definitive sources? Is it Alien Breed Evolution Episode One, Alien Breed Impact, Alien Breed 2: Assault, Alien Breed: Evolution, Alien Breed Episode One, or Alien Breed? Even Team 17's site seems a bit schizophrenic on the issue.Ray and jub (talk) 18:30, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Name change[edit]

According to Team 17's site, the three games in this series released so far are called Alien Breed Evolution, Alien Breed Impact and Alien Breed 2: Assault. There's also another game in the series' future. The Xbox 360 games are listed on Xbox's Marketplace as Alien Breed Episode 1 and Alien Breed 2: Assault. On Steam, the games are called Alien Breed Impact and Alien Breed 2: Assault. Nowhere is it suggested (at least, not anymore) that the series has an umbrella name of 'Alien Breed Evolution'. Therefore, I propose splitting this article into three - "Alien Breed Evolution" which will include Evolution and Impact (which is an update of Evolution), "Alien Breed 2: Assault" and then a third page whenever the next game comes out.
