Come on, four arms? I'm taking that off, as a joke. If I'm wrong, let me know. --Etacar11 20:07, 10 Feb 2005 (UTC)

About 20 years ago there was a travel exhibition across the United States of Impressionists works. I saw the exhibition is San Francisco's Legion of Honor. There was a canvas of Sisley included in the exhibit and I remembered I liked very much. I don't agree with some who say Sisley work most resembles Monet. I prefer to say his work most resembles Pisarro and somewhat Seurat. Art4humanists 22:07 15 December 2006 (UTC)

I just moved Sisley to Sisley (disambiguation), as none of the other items listed there have articles for them... Lithoderm 17:32, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Lane Near a Small Town" is by Paul Vogler[edit]

The painting "Lane Near a Small Town" turned out to be by Paul Vogler, not Alfred Sisley. The Kunsthalle Bremen is aware of that and already published articles about the process of the discovery. https://www.kunsthalle-bremen.de/blog/von-alfred-sisley-zu-paul-vogler-eine-gefaelschte-signatur-und-ihre-geschichte-1/

Changing the caption of the painting and the content in general would be highly appreciated.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.10.241.16 (talkcontribs) 10:06, March 3, 2016 (UTC)
