Alfonso's place of death[edit]

I found this in family research I'm doing. Noles1984 19:17, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alfonso's wife[edit]

Alfonso's wife is listed as Gersinda II of Sabran. My family research shows her name also appears as Gersenda de Sabran and to verify this their son, Ramon Berenguer IV, appears as that in the article and my history. Noles1984 19:30, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Second or First son of Alfonso II[edit]

You say that Peter was born in 1178 and Alfonso was born in 1174 making him the oldest son and NOT the second. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.151.116.132 (talk) 19:53, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Photo or Image of Alfonso[edit]

Hmm.. most male statues do not have breasts. Maybe this is his wife Gersenda instead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.151.116.132 (talk) 20:00, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The pictured statue is not Alfonso II but it is Beatrix of Savoy, his daughter in law. Last week I visited the Church Saint-Jean-de Malte in Aix-en-Provence and took a photo of his tomb. It is in the same Transept as the statue of Beatrix. If you would like the picture of his tomb to make this correction, I can send to you. 72.239.144.219 (talk) 18:01, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
