Notability, sources and connection with the article's subject[edit]

In WP:ANYBIO one can find:

The person has an entry in the Dictionary of National Biography or similar publication.

Alexey Karpenko has an entry in the Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine wich is similar publication in Ukraine as Dictionary of National Biography in GB.

This entry is the upmost reliable source citation for verification.

Your removal of the maintenance templates was already reverted, so you shouldn't be removing them again without gaining consensus, as you did here. The need for additional sources remains, as not all of the material in the article is sourced. The COI concern comes from File:Олексій Карпенко.jpg. @Cordless Larry: What about the notability template? Alexey Karpenko has an entry in the Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine wich is similar publication in Ukraine as Dictionary of National Biography in GB.
