Defector?[edit]

He is categorized as a defector to the Soviet Union, but I don't recall how this is suggested by the article. He was an American citizen who got trapped there. That does not make him a defector. Can someone please clarify? Best wishes, Hoktiwe (talk) 13:26, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
