Help, please[edit]

I'm well aware that this article does not presently meet Wikipedia's standards for a biography for a deceased, notable person. I'm unfamiliar with where to find these standards, however, and would really appreciate your help. If you know the standards or where to find them, please point me there so I can turn this article into what it deserves to be. XSG 04:59, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! thank you for getting this article started. Good start! The next thing is to add the WPBiography tag (which I just did) so it'll get into that project, perhaps attract the attention of Biographiles. Also I think the tag creates a link you can follow to find more about biographies. You are on your way!! rewinn 02:43, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted[edit]

A user made some good detailed additions to this article, however some of the unsourced additions contradicted information provided on some of the sources. I'd be happy to revert back to the additions if sources for those changes can be provided. XSG 03:40, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Shôgi[edit]

"During this time, he became a black belt in Shogi."

There is no belt in Shogi, only "dan" and "kyu" grades. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.3.102.176 (talk) 14:31, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I spotted that before seeing the talk page I have corrected it someone obviously got dan confused.Tetron76 (talk) 12:52, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Date of death[edit]

This article cites two contradictory dates of death, 10 May 2004 in the introductory section, and 27 Mar 2004 in the Death section. None of the four references lists a death date (despite the Death section being attributed to one of them). The German wikipedia site (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Randolph) lists a completely different death date, 27 Apr 2004, and lists multiple sources that would seem to confirm that date (however, these sources are in German). First to put his name on the box?[edit]

According to the anime "Houkago Saikoro Club" episode 4 (based on a manga kid the same name I haven't read), here was the first game designer to put his name on the box instead of remaining anonymous. If this is true, I believe it should be on the article, however, an episode od an anime is not a reliable source. EliasMQ (talk) 17:57, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
