"Berlin Ethnological Museum"[edit]

I've removed the red link to the "Berlin Ethnological Museum". Its a literal translation of the Museum für Völkerkunde, which no longer exists and could be inadvertently confused with the new Ethnologisches Museum (in Berlin-Dahlen). -- Fullstop 19:43, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bombing[edit]

According to the German version of the article, large amounts of the artefacts had actually been stored elsewhere during the war and are now to be found at the newer Museum_of_Asian_Art, rather than being destroyed as the article suggests. CBoeckle (talk) 16:24, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, I saw them at the Museum für Asiatische Kunst, they were not destroyed. It is also clearly stated in Foreign Devils on the Silk Road by Peter Hopkirk. --79.25.187.99 (talk) 22:01, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What has survived?[edit]

Great news!!! Can anyone please enlighten us as to what artifacts we thought were lost have been saved? Have any of the large wall murals survived or were the items saved mostly the smaller items? Many thanks in advance for any help you can give. Sincerely, John Hill (talk) 12:00, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
