Pronunciation[edit]

I also don't like IPA for intuitive pronunciations, I delete them regularly. However without knowing the etymology, I probably would pronounce this town /ˌæ.ləˈmɔːr.i./. Pinging @Cristiano Tomás, what do you think? Linshee 21:59, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Without a source (that is up-to-date), there is no point to add an IPA for a name like thus, unless there is due reason to. Alamorio being a particularly small community has made for a fruitless search for any local news clips, weather forecast, or literally any video/audio pronouncing the community's name. Similarly, the lack of demographic data doesn't really help in determining whether the community might pronounce the name more to the Spanish natural stresses or to more English natural stresses in the name. It's impossible to tell without a truly reliable source, so this article should not have an IPA. Cristiano Tomás (talk) 23:58, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
