In the section "1980-1993: Reorganization," the article refers to a 1983 anniversary concert, which it says featured Isaac Stern as soloist. I was at that concert. My fairly clear memory is that the soloist was Itzhak Perlman. Stern's son is a personal friend, and I am pretty sure I would have remembered if I had seen him in Birmingham. Not to mention, Perlman, with his leg braces and crutches from childhood polio, is a pretty hard figure to forget. Maybe the years have messed up my memory, but does anyone have a documented source that the soloist was truly Stern? Audemus Defendere (talk) 14:47, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
