"Guest" House?[edit]

Geo Swan: A "guest house" is an inn, or B&B. Your own sources identify this as a "safe house." I would recommend you change the title(s) of any articles that use this term to describe hiding places for members of the Taliban and/or Al-Qaeda. The term "safe house" is supported by the links, and does not give the false impression that these individuals are staying at an inn or bead and breakfast.Yachtsman1 (talk) 05:54, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

al-Qaeda originated from a documentation system in the Bait al-Ansar guesthouse back in the 1980’s, from the sources. "Guesthouse" is a common term for these houses, since they put people up without asking questions; safehouse is a more perjorative term - either is "borderline acceptable", and both have multiple sources backing up their use. Bayt is simply "House", so...shrug. Sherurcij (speaker for the dead) 06:05, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
