The Middle East is an intercontinental region, NOT a continent. The AQ involvement articles are by continent: Africa, Asia, and Europe and the Middles East does not belong here. The Middle East is for the most part in Asia and for a lesser part (Egypt) in Africa, so the Middle East article defies geographic logic. As a consequence of having the article alongside others, either we are double counting/listing of countries with huge issues around keeping up or we have vast parts of Asia (especially when looking at AQ terrorism) and a smaller part of Africa missing. Checking the Al-Qaeda involvement in Asia article, the latter is currently the case. The article is almost empty from content while the Middle East article contains most of our content on Asia countries belonging to and much needed in the Asia article. gidonb (talk) 01:49, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
