Is there any info on the inner workings of this thing? For instance, does it delete unused characters after a while or does it just carry on expanding its database? Is there a limit on how many questions it can hold? All of the questions in the stats page are either active or deleted. None of them are protected. Does this mean the starter questions like "is your character real?" may actually be lost after a while? And so on. Wikiditm (talk) 09:31, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My own version of thot about the recklessly sub-analytical content took this form:
Asked in comment mark up, “Does the learned player data reside in the company’s mainframe, on a disk in the computer being used to execute the program, or in volatile RAM controlled by the single instance of the program? Sorry to grieve the fanboys, but to any intelligent players, and IMO most WP-users of the article, the level of the preservation-of-learning aspect is a big deal.” Discuss on assoc’d tk pg.
That would be here.

Akinator vs. Smalltime's Guess the Dictator / Sitcom Character[edit]

Does anybody know whether Akinator is actually the first site to do this? I was aware of Smalltime Productions' Guess the Dictator far before Akinator, but I can't remember specific dates. This article suggests Smalltime's site existed as early as 2001, but they don't actually link to the site or give its name. Agentspooky (talk) 17:01, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
