A fact from Airlink (helicopter shuttle service) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 10 February 2013 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Prince Charles was one of the first passengers on the Airlink helicopter?
If anybody has access to this, please add to the article if it adds anything: "British Caledonian – the Airlink Service", in Aircraft Vol. 42, No. 12 (December 2009), page 41. Also, does anybody have any pics of G-LINK, the aircraft used on the Airlink? There are a few on Flickr, but they are not suitably licensed. It seems to me that a better name for the article would be London Airways, the company in whose name the Air Operator Certificate was issued. IMO the current name is rather clumsy. YSSYguy (talk) 15:29, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
From what I have found in my research, the name "Airlink" was used universally in relation to the service; the only reference I found to London Airways was a fleeting mention in one source, where it suggested (but did not directly state) that it was the name of the joint venture. Having said that, I do agree that "London Airways" should at least redirect to this rather than to British Airways, to which it currently points; so I will make that change.
