Another source ... and pics?[edit]

If anybody has access to this, please add to the article if it adds anything: "British Caledonian – the Airlink Service", in Aircraft Vol. 42, No. 12 (December 2009), page 41. Also, does anybody have any pics of G-LINK, the aircraft used on the Airlink? There are a few on Flickr, but they are not suitably licensed. Rename[edit]

It seems to me that a better name for the article would be London Airways, the company in whose name the Air Operator Certificate was issued. IMO the current name is rather clumsy. YSSYguy (talk) 15:29, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

From what I have found in my research, the name "Airlink" was used universally in relation to the service; the only reference I found to London Airways was a fleeting mention in one source, where it suggested (but did not directly state) that it was the name of the joint venture. Having said that, I do agree that "London Airways" should at least redirect to this rather than to British Airways, to which it currently points; so I will make that change. (I notice that since your comment, the article has been moved to slightly different name.) Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 17:02, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, and the new name is an improvement so I'm happy with the status quo. YSSYguy (talk) 04:13, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
