Untitled[edit]

My father (and, I presume, many others), was awarded the Africa Star for the Greece and Crete (1941), campaigns.

Why does the image show a silver medal when the text states that the Africa Star is made of "yellow copper zinc alloy"? Cavie78 00:48, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Eligibility[edit]

The 'untitled' comment above exactly matches my outlook.
I would only add that I can find no mention of the Greece and Crete campaigns in the same sentence as a medal. As far as I know, the Africa Star was awarded to veterans of the G & C campaigns simply because there was nothing else around.

So, why is there no mention of G & C in this article or any other on Wikipedia?
