Transliteration[edit]

አፈ ፡ ወርቅ ፡ ገብረ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ ዘብሔረ ፡ ዘጌ, as his name is written in his novel ልብ ፡ ወለድ ፡ ታሪክ used to transcribe his own name as "Afevork Ghevre Jesus" and I believe this should be the name of the main article. Is it o.k. for me to change it? yhever 05:50, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He may have transliterated it that way, but I've seen it transliterated more closely to a form similar to "Afeworq Gebre Iyasu". I'd like to move this article to that spelling. -- llywrch (talk) 07:43, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
