I am writing to address the request for speedy deletion. I addressed a previous comment about notability by adding third-party sources. If more are needed, I can provide them, but am unsure of how to change to "Reference" layout to show the article titles.

In addition, the intention of this page is to expand on the history of seafaring institutions. The layout and information for this page were modeled directly off of a similar companies and their pages such as Sea Education Association and Semester at Sea. I thought that was an acceptable standard. This is not an advertisement, but information such as "Mission" had to come directly from the ActionQuest as that is their intended goal.

The significance of ActionQuest is in it's influence on the global community and it's history as a school that grew from another school featured on wikipedia, the Flint School, and thus grew to continue the mission of sea education and experience like the other institutions mentioned above. The establishment of ActionQuest came from the experiences of the owner through sailing with the "founders" of sea education, Irving and Exy Johnson, along with many other experiences.

The programs are also coupled a motivational component, Motive Power or Lifeworks, intended to help students think "outside the box".

This explanation is not intended as an advertisement, but rather as an fuller definition of why ActionQuest is important in the chronology of seafaring institutions. --Sailriddle (talk) 13:55, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
