"Compare"[edit]

Well... it says "Compare this to the award for Sound Editing", but I have no idea how to do so since I don't know what the difference is between them. Why doesn't the article compare them? Isn't that part of its purpose? 91.105.6.114 (talk) 21:08, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

To answer your question, sound editing and sound mixing are sort of opposites; sound editing is shortening music or sound effects, while sound mixing is adding different sounds together. I do suppose the article should compare them. I might add it in if I have the time. Cheers, The Shadow-Fighter (talk) 19:45, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Move to "Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing"[edit]

I think this article should be moved to Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing, since that is what it is referred to at all the ceremonies. Can anyone back me up? The Shadow-Fighter (talk) 19:45, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'll back you up if you have a reliable source. If so, then I suggest you raise it via WP:RM to gain a consensus. Thanks for bringing this up, too. Lugnuts (talk) 08:15, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
