Source[edit]

I think we can do better than having Barron's AP coursebook as a source, or can't we? 121.130.76.122 (talk) 14:15, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

This article needs a complete cleanup, sources, and an article split, dividing it into Absolute location and Relative location. The style of writing in the Relative location doesn't meet Wikipedia's standards as well. --75.162.237.173 (talk) 01:19, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge suggestion[edit]

This article should included into the Location (geography) page. The notion of absolute location is false (see my comments above, plus "Teaching geography", Philip Gersmehl, page 60 - it's on Google Books), and besides there is no longer an article for relative location (which is a real concept).
