Sunni or Shia[edit]

Al-Qaeda is a Sunni Muslim organization. Why would an Al-Qaeda operative be fighting along Shia Muslim uprising? I am not an expert, but this seems strange to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Henrikha (talk • contribs) 02:12, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
