That whole Zidane bit is not true. Interviews with Algerian players at the time have proven this. This includes 2 of his teammates at AS Cannes who were Algerian, they said they talked to the Algerian FA about a promising Algerian youngster in their squad but the Algerian FA never bothered checking him out! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TonyStarks (talk • contribs).

I am not sure whether it is true or false but i have a reference [1]. If you have the reference to the interviews please bring it. Cheers -- Szvest
