Article cleanup[edit]

What are "long-tail small and medium-sized manufacturers"? I have an MBA degree, have worked in industry since the late 1970s, and have never heard of the term "long-tail" being used in any business context. Is this a joke, or vandalism? It's this kind of vernacular crap that earns cleanup tags for Wikipedia articles. —QuicksilverT @ 16:17, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is a real concept, made popular by Netflix among others. See long tail. But this article is in dire need of citing sources.

Too bad about Sandy[edit]

No one has bothered to write a page about Sandy, even after a Murky article about her and her kids. This really says most contributors to wikipedia aren't local much less technical. 143.232.210.38 (talk) 23:30, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to learn the Wikipedia guidelines and volunteer like the rest of us. If you can find enough sources to show evidence of notability independent of the company, please do it. Thanks. W Nowicki (talk) 17:32, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
