"Bob Terwilliger"[edit]

I was suspicious of the suggestion that their first CEO was Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons... but it turns out to be true. Well, it turns out to be his real name anyway. See for instance this press release from their website about their 3rd quarter results for y2000, cached on archive.org:

This core is configurable; so it has some optional blocks which can be added or removed from project. It is compared with LEGO because it is easy to reconfigure a core. `a5b (talk) 21:05, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is it actual information? Eetimes says that total cpu market was 10 bln of cores in 2011 and ARC had 10% of this market. `a5b (talk) 21:05, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Intel?[edit]

Is this company more or less directly owned by Intel? I find it a bit implausible that Intel would include an ARC core in most of their chipsets (as Intel Management Engine) unless Intel had some good hold on the ARC company itself.
