merge proposal[edit]

There is a proposal to merge this page with 50th (Northumbrian) Infantry Division. To keep things together, the discussion is here. Swanny18 (talk) 19:02, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Commanders[edit]

When was the division named the 50th (Northumbrian) Infantry Division? The list of commanders either needs reducing or splitting and labelling.Usedtoknowthat (talk) 19:23, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Rewrite[edit]

I notice when I writing, that I'm putting a lot more detail into this than the other divisional rewrite I did previously. Is there any preferred level of detail for a division page, or a brigade or Corps page for that matter? Usedtoknowthat (talk) 21:22, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. Have a look at 76th Infantry Division (United Kingdom), 77th Infantry Division (United Kingdom) or 80th Infantry (Reserve) Division (United Kingdom). These have all recently been nominated for or made it to GA Class. Hamish59 (talk) 21:44, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I'll plod on and see what others make of it. Usedtoknowthat (talk) 22:37, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Done (apart from niggles). Peters out for the Hundred Days, but then so does Wyrall. Usedtoknowthat (talk) 17:54, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
