List error?[edit]

Number 10 was not 'Back to the Future' but Woody Allen's 'Manhatten'.

I just removed this from the article page and put it here. Can someone confirm/deny this statement and if it is Manhattan, change the article? I did some research but haven't found anything. Amphytrite 07:28, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to this page:

...it is indeed Manhatten. I'll go and change it.

The list isn't exactly a Top 50 films of all time, but, err, rather a suggestion of 50 films to see before you die.[edit]

Films that might have been otherwise overlooked. For instance, to date they haven't screened Lynch’s Mullholland Drive, but they have screened Blue Velvet, if there were bias wouldn’t Blue Velvet have been in the list (the one I saw anyway)?

People fretting over their favourite films not being present actually suggests some POV on their behalf considering film4 has the rights to screen films like Taxi Driver, The Godfather and Blue Velvet all of which have since been screened. I think references to bias should be altered in tone or removed. If nobody disagrees then I shall do this myself soon, if I can remember to be that petty myself that is.
