Layout: flag soup[edit]

While it's been seemingly traditional for a while in the set of EFA articles (for horror vacui or whatever other reason), the addition of the ineffable flag soup turns this and other articles into a barely legible untidy mess in which countries seem to be more important from a visual standpoint than the nominees themselves. In addition, the incidence of the flag soup in boxes corresponding to people adds further awkwardness and dire original research issues. Sources about the EFA awards often do not back up the mention of the country in most categories, not to say that they virtually never endorse the country + flag approach. It's worth mentioning too that there is no bi-univocal country-picture relation. The flags provide little to no value. The visual prosopography they may provide could be accounted for in an addendum whenever secondary sources feel compelled to highlight it.--Asqueladd (talk) 14:31, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
