Proposal to delete erroneous claim[edit]

The astronomy event section claims that during the solar eclipse of 17 July solar prominences were seen. However, the original text (Matheseos Book I, chapt. 4.10; English translation here, cf. p. 18) makes no such claim.

Unless someone comes with a reliable source for this claim, I will delete it in October. AstroLynx (talk) 10:19, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
