Hey @United States Man! I'm not sure why you think WP:CRYSTAL applies here. Listing a future race date does not predict the future, as these "anticipated events" are "verifiable". These events are scheduled and "notable" and "almost certain to happen". My comment about other pages was not WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, besides, that policy only applies to deletion discussions, simply referring to it in this context is not helpful. Editors have come to a consensus over time that listing future races with space for results is appropriate, please explain why you do not think it is? If other editors would like to chime in, please do. glman (talk) 13:39, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is simply no reason to list a blank table row for an event that has yet to happen. WP:NOTNEWS would tend to apply here. There is also a schedule section on these articles for this very reason. United States Man (talk) 15:40, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please explain how WP:NOTNEWS would apply? It may be your opinion that there is no reason to list an upcoming event, but your opinion isn't policy or consensus. glman (talk) 17:35, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@United States Man please see above question. glman (talk) 14:33, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you give me any sound logic or reason as to why it is better to unhide a blank row in a table days in advance vs. waiting until something (i.e. qualifying) occurs to actually have something to put in the blank space? United States Man (talk) 19:30, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You made the WP:BOLD change. What is the reason for hiding them? Listing them here provides a clear indication of what races are left to be completed, and doesn't violate any policies or guidelines. glman (talk) 20:01, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is a separate schedule section for races left to be completed. Really no reason to do this. I’ll start an RfC. United States Man (talk) 21:53, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
