Seat totals[edit]

Seeing as the disapora vote has not yet been counted, I am not sure how the seat totals can be available yet (no-one adding them has actually provided a source for the full set of seats). Also, the most recent addition of the seats (at least the third) only had 117 seats in total. Number 5 7 16:09, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm also seeing a problem with the seats. It says that VV won only 29 seats, when it won way more. I already put that as a discussion Di the Albanian (talk) 19:24, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

On this page, it says that winning party Vetëvendosje won 29 seats, but that is false and no source is provided. Vetëvendosje won 56 seats in the Assembly, which is nearly double the seats that this article says it has.

It should be fixed, as it is very confusing. On one part it says that VV won 47% of the votes, while on the other it says 29 seats. Di the Albanian (talk) 19:23, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't say Vetëvendosje won 29 seats – this is the pre-election position, not seats won in this election. We need a source for the seats won to add them in. Number 5 7 19:45, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Alternative[edit]

Does anyone has a source for The Alternative (Kosovo) having won a seat in this election (and the one before)? I can't seem to find one, but it appear to be true, as the party leader got elected as leader of the VV group, although she could have very well just switched parties in the meanwhile.--Aréat (talk) 04:03, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

seat distribution : also general seats (100) for Serbian List?[edit]

The Serbian minority is guaranteed 10 seats, but as the Serbian List got more than 5% of the votes, it could have won also some of the 100 'general' seats. Are the 100 'general' seats solely for Albanian parties so that the Serbian List can win no more than the 10 Serbian seats?----Bancki (talk) 13:56, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Only a guess, but perhaps parties have to state whether they are a minority party, and if they do, are only entitled to minority seats? Or perhaps could be the case that the minority seats won by the Serb List was higher than their entitlement in the 100 open seats, so they were not awarded any? 10 seats are guaranteed to Serb minority, and other 10 to the so-called 6 minorities (Turkish, Bosnian, Roma, Ashkali, Gorani and Egyptian minorities). Serbs if they manage to pass the quotas for an 11th seat, then this will be taken from the remaining 100, but it is unlikely to happen on practice since AAK manage to get more votes than LS but which were converted in 8 Parliamentary seats. In short, the Serbs List on equal terms would have around 7 seats, not counting the fact that in Serbian minority zones the turnout is over 70%, pushed by the Serbian government to participate in the voting.
