Why have Germany and Switzland has switch their groups? --165.225.72.225 (talk) 15:33, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Guess as the hosts they wanted to play at the larger arena. Kante4 (talk) 15:40, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah most years (since 2012) there is some kind of a switch, sometimes they publicize why, sometimes they don't. The host has the right.18abruce (talk) 16:01, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Relegation clarification[edit]

"If [Belarus/Latvia] finishes 8th then the overall 14th ranked team will be relegated."

As noted, if one of the two teams finishes 8th in their pool, the 14th overall team is relegated. What if the other team is 14th? Would it then be the 13th overall team relegated? The reference only mentions both teams being protected, not just one. --Crazye97 (talk) 12:11, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That is an interesting ambiguity. I believe that 13th place is meant to be safe regardless, so your situation would result in only one team being relegated. I think this follows the logic of only relegating one team if both future hosts end up in relegation position, but that is unfortunately only an opinion.18abruce (talk) 19:43, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
