Shake-up continued[edit]

This is to explain and discuss my recent additions.

1. The Superstar Shake-up continued on the following week's episode as mentioned on both episodes. As required, I have included two secondary sources, one for Raw, one for Smackdown, that these episodes were part of the Shake-up:

  • Powell, Jason (April 22, 2019). "4/22 WWE Raw Results: Powell's review of the first episode following the WWE Superstar Shakeup". Pro Wrestling Dot Net. Retrieved April 23, 2019. and
  • Powell, Jason (April 23, 2019). "4/23 WWE Smackdown Live results: Powell's review of Kofi Kingston vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair meet face to face for the first time since WrestleMania 35, fallout from Roman Reigns punching Vince McMahon and the Superstar Shakeup". Pro Wrestling Dot Net. Retrieved April 25, 2019. - it's not like the previous week has any better sources.

This way is also more convenient for the readers who want to quickly find out who moved where - this way they don't have to look it up in aftermath, buried under ongoing storylines.

Sure, this is the first time this has happened since the 2nd brand split but the 1st brand split also had drafts that extended beyond a single show/week.

2. On a more cosmetic note, merging the tables has a few advantages: the columns do not differ in width, making it more readable. Including the introductions in the table (with a colour scheme) saves us an entire column (the "Brand (to)" column) as this year every move was revealed on the show the wrestler moved to - there were only arrivals, no depatures. This leaves more space for the other columns.

3. In the case of tag teams, members should be linked in a uniform manner. I replaced the commas between most real names with the word "and" which was already used for ring names.

Summary[edit]

I added a summary section for readers who just want to know who wound up going where, and don't want to be bogged down in the minutiae.

Let's face it, this Shakeup was a bit different with all the last minute redirects (Black, Lars, Andrade, Vega) and Joe being scratched for a week due to the flu.

With the summary section, I tried to "bottom line" it for people who just want the basics and not the intricacies.

The intention is fine, but we don't need to put the same information twice like this. --JDC808 19:36, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
