It is neither standard nor important, it merely adds a comma and two pointless letters to every footballbox. If a reader has never heard of Ottawa before, telling them it's "in Ontario" isn't going to help, and the city articles already disambiguate themselves as necessary. It is completely worthless information which isn't included in any season articles outside American leagues. QQ2NFLD (talk) 14:17, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong. Many people do not know where Lawrenceville, Cary, or Montclair are. If you prefer the entire spelling of the States/Provinces that is fine, but it is completely useful information that is used on other USL articles...Just have a look at Cincinnati's, Bethlehem's, Toronto's, Atlanta's, Nashville's, etc. etc. etc. 70.50.215.142 (talk) 00:20, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
